Today I took part in the Friday afternoon beginners' English class.
There were 5 people, including me, in the class. One person, Akiko, was taking the class for the first time.
We played a game where we tried to guess Winter Olympic sports.
We also practiced talking about things we have to do, don't have to do, and can't do.
For example, "In Japan, students have to wear uniforms. They don't have to study French. They can't wear jeans in school."
In our classes, we usually practice with dialogues that our teacher (Ken) writes for us.
Then we practice using the lesson points by ourselves.
It's not always easy, but it's fun!
